Bumi Hills Lake Kariba

Lake Kariba

Baines River Camp, Lower Zambezi

Zambezi National Park

The Tuli Block is tucked away in the eastern Botswana and is a hidden gem. It offers a very different safari experience to the rest of the country. It is set around the Limpopo River which features dramatic rocky landscapes, huge baobab trees and elephants and is protected by private reserves.

Singita Lodge

Gonarezhou National Park & Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve

Zimbabwe’s crowd-free south is home to the Big 5 and rugged Gonarezhou is sure to impress alongisde the exclusive experience of Malilangwe, a private reserve bordering the park. Apart from the stunning scenery, visitors can expect to see rhino, elephant and buffalo plus big cats and wild dogs.

When To Go To Zimbabwe

Dry Seasons: May–Oct

With mild temperatures, virtually no rain and a low malaria risk, the dry May to October winter season is generally seen as the best time to visit Zimbabwe for game-viewing, although it’s good to note that September and October are extremely hot and dry months.

Green Season: Nov-Feb

The green season is when Zimbabwe gets the most rain. Heavy thunderstorms with plenty of thunder and lightning generally don’t last for more than a couple of hours. During this season most lodges offer lower prices and savings for travellers are significant. The landscape is lush and it’s calving season – which attracts an abundance of predators.

How Much is a Zimbabwe Safari?

Rates generally depend on timing (i.e., key travel seasons like holidays) and level of luxury (the type of amenities and exclusivity).

From $650 – $1300 Per Person Per Night

What Costs Are Included?

Most accommodations are all-inclusive; all your meals, snacks, beverages, alcohol (with some exceptions) are part of your room rate. In addition, your game drives (if offered by your lodge) will also be included.

The only things you’ll have to pay for are special activities like guided tours of Victoria Falls, spa treatments, helicopter flips, bungee jumping and, in some cases, imported spirits. Beyond that, just gratuities for the incredible staff who will make your stay at each lodge so memorable.
